Radio Audition

Last sessions we have been working with Khan Academy. It helped us to understand how JS and DOM worked. We are going to show you an Interview that we made, about JS and DOM. First, we recorded our voices using Vocaroo, which is an online voice recorder. Then we downloaded the audios and we put them on Audacity. We also nedded to add music to the Interview. The last thing we done, was posting the Interview that we created on Audacity to Soundcloud.

Interview: JS and the DOM Marcos Cunille & Fede Balberde

Last sessions we have been working with Khan Academy to learn about JS and the DOM. This time, to review some things about this topic, we recorded an interview with questions about JS and the DOM. To build the audio we have now, we started by recording separatly each question and answer in Vocaroo, which is an online voice recorder. It is really easy to use and it is very quick. Then we downloaded each audio as MP3 and set them together in Audacity. We also added some music as background. Audacity is an application to edit and organize audios, it is very useful but at the beginning it is a bit complicated to use it. When we finished the audio of the interview, we uploaded it on Soundcloud.

Radio Audition

Hi everyone! We are Cande and Eli.
In this post we'd like to share with you what our last task of informatics was about.
Fist we had to do some activities in Khan Academy so we could understand the principal topic of the next step, which was to make questions for an interview about what we learned of JavaScript, HTML and DOM and record the interview with our own voices  with an specific order that our teacher Anselmo gave us, and example could be that the interview had to have a song (just instrumental) or that we had to start with 2 seconds of silence and then 5 seconds for the song only and then we could start talking. We had some issues with Audacity and the recording because when we did it our classmates won't stop talking and many times we tried to summit the link to classroom, the audio appeared like it was non-existent so we recoded like 3 audios but we finally achieve the result that we wanted.

If you wanna hear our interview, I'll leave the link here.

Radio Interview - Juli Muller and Maria Rodillo

First of all this Vlog will be about Javascript and DOM. To make it more interessting we did an interview about some questions that we had about this Topic. First we wrote the questions, then we recorded the interview in a webpage called "Vocaroo". Then we downloaded the records and some music to put it as background music. To put it all together we used Audacity and to finish we published it in Soundcloud.

The questions that we asked were:

How does Javascript compared with DOM?

The DOM is a set of objects used for interacting with a webpage. JavaScript is a general-purpose programming language, and when you execute JavaScript in a browser, it has access to the DOM. Take out the DOM and you still have a programming language.

How would you create a new DOM element?

Use the createElement() method for creating a DOM element:
Fill the new element with any HTML content:
Alternatively, use DOM methods for creating content nodes and append them to the new element. This approach requires more code, and is in general slower or equally fast as working with innerHTML:
"the word" can now be inserted into the DOM tree:

What is most important? Javascript or DOM

We think Javascript is more important than DOM, because JavaScript is a programming language used primarily by Web browsers to create a dynamic and interactive experience for the user. On the other side DOM only defines the logical structure of documents and the way a document is accessed and manipulated.

Interview Agustin RAM and Agustin DAN

Hello in the last few weeks we have been working with Khan Academy. There we saw JavaScript, DOM, codes, etc. With them we learn how work HTML and how to do web pages. Then we had to make a radio interview. It was a complicated work but I learn a lot doing it. First we do the interview with Vocaroo. Vocaroo is a very useful web pages. There you can recorder and unload what you recorded. Then we used audacity to put music in the interview and edit it. In Audacity you can do a lot of things for example edit what you recorded. Then we created an account from ICloud and unload the interview.
And here I leave tyou the interview.
Enjoy it.

Radio Interview

We made some questions about the JS and the DOM, because we want to know more about those  Topics. First we investigated about this with Khan Academy. Then we used Vocaroo to record our voices, and after that we used Audacity to finish our project. We chose some music too. By doing this project we learned how DOM and JS works , Its very interesting. Also we had to create a Soundcloud account so we could post our interview on Soundcloud. At the end of the post you will be able to find the link of our interview . I hope you guys enjoy It , we did a really hard work. We had fun and learned at the same time !

Questions and Answers

What is the difference between javascript and DOM?
DOM stands for Document Object Model and, as you could guess from the name, represents the structure of an HTML document in a platform dependent way. JavaScript is a programming language that web browsers can execute. JavaScript can interact with the DOM with DOM scripting.

What ideas do you think about  when we say main function of DOM?

The first thing I can think of it  is that the  DOM is known as a Document object model and it allows the accessing of the documents like HTML.

- It allows a platform to be language neutral and provide an interface that allows the dynamic usage of the scripts and programs to access the content.

- It also provides a way to update the content, structure and style of the document and a way to represent it in any language.

- It is used with the language and used to create the objects that can be used as a model to allow the interface to be developed with ease.

How does HTML modify JS?
It cant. HTML is a mark-up language and it don't have any control of its own.
Rather JavaScript, being scripting language is used for controlling HTML.

Radio Interview

We created this new post to talk about what we did last week.
Last week we have been working with Java Script (JS) and Documentation Object Model (DOM). We learn this two topics through a webpage called Khan Academy, then the exercise was to create an audio with 3 questions about JS and DOM, using the Vocaroo page. After that we had to download the audio in a program called audacity. That program we use to fix the audion and to add music. Once the audio was finish we use SoundCloud to download the file in blogger.

Radio audition Interview

Hi guys , recently we have been working with Khan Academy , tags , codes and  java scripts. With this content we learned how to create web pages and also how HTML works, it is very interesting.
Today we  will present you the interview that Chiara and I have done. It is about "JS and DOM".We realized this interwiev with the help of Audacity , Vocaroo and Youtube. We learned in class how to use this apps to make projects like this interview. We also posted our interview on Soundcloud so that you guys can hear It. By doing this project we learned how exactlly java scripts and DOM works , also we learnes how to do great big things by only recording our voice. Here is the link of our interview in Souncloud.

Interview

The last week we have been working on Java script (JS) and Documentation Object Model (DOM). We learn how to use Dom by learning in Khan academy. Then the task was to create an audio using vocaroo, the audio was an interview about JS and DOM formulating questions of last exercises stages answering them. After that we had to use Audacity a tool to edit audios by making music louder or delet the backstage noise. About the music, we used Musopen to download mp3 music the problem is that it was not the music we would have chosen. The types of music were opera, tango, symphony, etc.Once audacity was finished we  use Soundcloud a tool upload the edited audio in the blogger.
hopefully you enjoy our project. Here is the link to hear the audio we made.

radio audition

Hello, last clases we have been working with khan academy, java scripts , tags , codes, etc.  With them we learn how to do web pages and how HTML works. Today we are going to show you an interview that me and my friend make about '' JS and DOM''. We make this interview using audacity, wick we learned in class how to used it. One we finish with audacity, we make a Soundcloud account and post the audio file there. With this task we learned exactly what DOM and Java Script is and how to record our voices and add music to that file.

In the last lessons of Informatics we have been learning about Java Script and DOM, using Khan Academy. After that we recorded an interview about this subjects, in which, with a class partner, one of us asked questions about java Script and DOM and the other had to answer them. We recorded it using Audacity and we added some music to make the interview more interesting. We uploded the music track from a webpage called: Musopen. Once we finnished using Audacity, we created an account in SoundCloud, and uploaded the audio file in this website.
With this task we learned exactly what DOM and Java Script is and how to record our voices and add music to that file.
Below you can hear our audio file:
