turing machine as a concept

Some time ago in Informatics, we saw a video about Turing Machine as a concept and today i'm going to explain the concepts about it.
The Turing Machine was developed by a man called Alan Turing in 1936. It's actually an abstract machine which can manipulates symbols on a strip of tape according to a table of rules. The machine is divided in ones and ceros, each cero and one is in a square at the time always. It took orders from the user who says to this machine where to move the ceros or ones and if the machine should just leave it. 
 The creator of this Machine at the time he was developing it, he was working with the Decision Problem.
